Update: Max. weight increased to 215 kg for HOME-R 24-02-2026
Our HOME-R system has been upgraded to meet higher performance and safety requirements. This reinforced configuration is referred to HOME-R HD and is designed for heavier residential garage doors.
What's new?
The maximum supported door weight has been increased from 165 kg to 215 kg, and the system now allows the use of four springs instead of two for improved load distribution and smoother operation.
To support these enhancements, several existing components have been reinforced and new parts have been introduced, resulting in a stronger and more reliable door system.
Below is an overview of the new and improved components.
Bracket for spring break device
This redesigned bracket is compatible with both HOME-R and HOME-F systems. It now features four central mounting holes for direct installation onto the C-profile and supports configurations with up to four springs, making it suitable for higher door weights.
Suspension set for C-profile
This complete suspension set consists of 235501-500, 235502, 235505, and the required bolts and nuts. It has been developed to prevent torsion of the C-profile under increased load, ensuring structural stability when using four springs and heavier doors.
Reinforced bottom bracket
Based on the original bottom bracket 240033, this version has been structurally reinforced and is designed for use with a long roller. It is available in zinc-plated (240041) and white (240041-R9016) finishes. For correct installation, 25 mm longer screws are required.
Spring break device reinforcement brackets
This reinforcement set is designed for the residential spring break devices 25650-L, 25650-R, 25651-L and 25651-R and has been developed to handle the increased loads of heavier HOME-R HD doors. The reinforcement brackets prevent the ratchet wheels from coming loose, reduce the risk of shaft deformation, and ensure smooth, safe, and reliable system operation.
Ready for 60 mm panels
The new rail set can be adjusted to accommodate 60 mm panels. This configuration was not supported in the previous HOME-R design, but the updated system now allows these panels without any modifications, providing greater flexibility in door construction.
Cable drum cover
In response to market demand, we have developed an optional cable drum cover for the HOME-R system. This additional safety component provides a protective cover for the cable drum, reducing the risk of finger injuries during operation and maintenance.
