Driven by the markets' demand for an extension spring solution for heavy doors, our HOME-X door system now supports door weights up to 163 kg. We are currently offering the highest CE approved weight capacity for extension spring door systems on the market.

New components for the 131 kg - 163 kg range
We use quadruple extension springs consisting of two sets of two springs to support door weights between 131 kg and 163 kg. These are complemented by new cables, pulleys, and a slightly altered connection strip designed specifically for these higher weights.
This is a list of the components that are changed for the 131 kg - 163 kg range of HOME-X:
- 131 kg - 163 kg spring sets: 11570X, 11572X, 11574X, 11576X to 11578X
- Spring connection strip for door weights >131 kg: 115070
- Cable sets 115214-XXXX are introduced to compensate for different spring lengths
- Pulley 115056 remains the same for all extension springs
Doors lighter than 131 kg remain the same
The existing HOME-X door system for door weights up to 130 kg remains exactly the same. All extension springs and associated components continue to be available without changes.
As a reminder: the difference is that the standard HOME-X extension springs consist of one set of two to three springs (depending on the door weight) while the new 131 kg - 163 kg range uses two sets of two springs.
