Improved spring plugs for pre-assembled torsion springs 07-08-2024
We are introducing newly improved spring plugs for our pre-assembled torsion springs for residential doors. This product upgrade is applicable to both our M50 and M67 spring plugs and replaces the previous method of using friction to secure the plugs with a more robust mechanical connection.
Spring plugs with slotted holes
The old design relied on 'screwing' the plugs onto the springs, which rarely led to loosening and potential detachment. The new plugs feature an added hole into which the spring ends are securely pressed, ensuring a much firmer attachment and enhancing overall product reliability.
Note: This upgrade will be implemented as a running change, meaning our pre-assembled torsion springs will feature the new spring plugs as the old stock is depleted.
