New thermal resistant products 26-07-2019

The most important step in residential energy conservation is the installation of thermal insulation. That is why DOCO has developed two new seals that provide extra thermal resistance to your HOME door system.

Our new thermal seal (225017) has a U-value up to 12% higher than our standard seal. When adding the optional Q-Lon seal (225018), both the U-value and air permeability classification increase.

Thermal seal

225017

  • Fits on vertical angle and lintel profile
  • Available in three lengths: 2560, 3060 and 6000 mm
  • Requires 7,5 mm extra build-in space at the top and both sides

Q-Lon seal

225018

  • Designed to fit thermal seal 225017
  • Provides a better U-value and air permeability classification

Combine with 60 mm panels for better values

To achieve even better thermal insulation of your HOME door, you can combine these products with 60 mm panels. DOCO has specially designed hardware that is suitable for this type of panel.

These bottom corner brackets make our HOME-X and HOME-F door systems suitable for 60 mm panels:
